What Serverless Technology Should We Consider?
There are two major options for serverless solutions on AWS. While we’re happy to discuss specific solutions to fit your unique needs we do have some favorites.
Lambda
Lambda is AWS’s main approach to serverless execution. Lambada functions may be written in several popular programming languages, and only execute on demand, optimizing for the lowest cost of execution.
Fargate
Fargate is the technology of choice for serverless implementations of containerized workloads which are implemented in AWS’s ECS or EKS containerization technologies. Containerized workloads may be deployed to the cloud managed fully by AWS, with no customer-managed servers in play.
